Photos, Reviews and more
Wow, what a weekend! It was every bit as as sunny, relaxed, eccentric and inspiring as we’d hoped for. Thanks to everyone from the babies to the grannies for christening the inaugural knees up. From Chuck Berry’s stage invasion to the mysterious bouncy ground, Wayne Coyne from The Flaming Lips' dramatic entrance to the Bestival Blue Coats madcap antics, the Wurzel’s rave up to the fancy dress, you all made it beautiful.
There were some teething problems which affected people on the Friday - more facilities of all kinds have already been ordered for 2009 so fear not, we’re on it.
And if you’re coming to the mothership Bestival in five weeks we’ll see you down the front!
